At our Swim Club, we are passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle through swimming. We offer classes and training adapted to all ages and levels, providing a safe and motivating environment for you to enjoy the physical and emotional benefits of the water.
Since 1964, we have been the aquatic club of choice in Trinidad and Tobago. For decades, we have been spreading the culture of the sport.
We offer swimming lessons for all ages, from children over 4 years old to seniors, as well as personalized training for those who wish to improve their technique or compete at a recreational or competitive level.
The Flying Fish Swim Club was formed in 1964 by a group of parents that were able to rent pool time from the then Bretton Hall, YMCA and the St. Mary's pool. The Executive members of the club, head coach Mr. Peter Samuel Sr. and the parents were able to lease a parcel of land from the St. Joseph Convent, Port-of Spain. With the assistance of Wimpy Construction Company and a loan from the government of Trinidad & Tobago, they were able to build the two pools and essential facilities. The facility was officially opened in 1967. In 1977, Pan American Airlines became the sponsor of the club and the club was then known as Pan Adam Flying Fish Swim Club. This club has had a very successful history of starting out all Olympian swimmers, many who have represented the country in international meets, as well as countless more who successfully represented the Club.
